BOSTON -- Exinda Networks, the only provider of Unified Performance Management (UPM) solutions worldwide, today announced an important milestone of having served 1,000 customers worldwide. Exindas 1,000th customer is AEW Capital Management, L.P. (AEW), a global real estate investment management firm based in Boston. AEW and its affiliates manage more than $41 billion of real estate assets and securities (as of December 31, 2006) on behalf of many of the world's leading institutional and private investors.

AEW utilizes Exinda’s solution to optimize its corporate network supporting its employees located in Boston, Los Angeles, Singapore and London. Exinda’s solution plays a critical role in delivering timely pricing information to AEW employees globally so they can react quickly to market changes. Exinda also provides AEW with clear visibility into how their network is being used. AEW has been able to significantly improve network application response times keeping employees highly productive. The company has effectively allocated only a portion of its network capacity to external users, such as financial auditors. After implementing the Exinda solution, calls to the company help desk regarding poor application response time diminished. AEW also utilizes Exinda’s advanced monitoring and reporting tools to prevent network outages and to modify network traffic prioritization in line with changing business requirements.

“Exinda’s solution is highly effective and very simple to use,” said Red Costello, AEW’s vice president of information technology. “I recommend it to others because it’s the high-value brand that delivers great functionality at a reasonable price.”
