QLogic Sets Record With SANblade

QLogic SANblade HBAs used with HP Integrity Superdome server set online transaction performance world record

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -- QLogic Corp.
(Nasdaq:QLGC), the leader in Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs),
stackable switches and blade server switches, today announced that
QLogic(r) SANblade(r) 2400 Series 4Gb Fibre Channel HBAs (HP model
number HP AB379B) together with HP Integrity Superdome Itanium2 1.6GHz
servers achieved an unprecedented TPC-C benchmark score of 4,092,799
transactions per minute (tpmC) in HP-UX 11i environments.

"These latest TPC-C results validate that customers benefit from the
superior performance of QLogic SANblade 2400 Series HBAs," said Amit
