    information storage” marketing campaign to the Byte and Switch interviewer, who is obviously supposed to remain in “listen only” mode at this point, as
    several attempts to interject with questions are talked down. Time passes.
    Slowly. Rather embarrassingly, the Byte and Switch reporter is
    eventually forced to raise her voice.

Byte and Switch: JIM! HOW WILL THAT TRANSLATE IN TERMS OF
PRODUCTS?

Rothnie: We are not in the business of pre-announcing
products if that’s what you mean. I don’t think I understand the
question.

Byte and Switch: In your speech back there about networked
information storage you mention that the distinction between SAN and NAS is
disappearing. Does that mean one device will eventually perform both these
operations?
