CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Arkeia Software, the leading provider of powerful, innovative data protection solutions, announced today a new partnership with VMware (NYSE:EMC), the global leader in virtual infrastructure software for industry standard systems.

As part of the partnership, VMwares Web site will feature a virtual appliance running Arkeia Network Backup version 6.0, an enterprise class backup solution enabling backup to heterogeneous operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX, Novell Netware, Mac OS, and BSD). In addition, Arkeia Software will provide VMware customers with special virtual client bundling pricing to ensure cost effectiveness.
