And what about these "optional features" added to the 802.11n standard over the last two years?  It still remains to be seen whether any of these will be added to the current generation of 802.11n products.   Adding these features to an existing product might require additional WFA testing, so many of the vendors may likely hold off delivering the complete 802.11n feature set.  

And finally, all of the various parties involved in getting 802.11n from concept to industry standard won't be able to celebrate too long, because work has already begun on the next standard, 802.11ac, which hopes to push wireless speeds into gigabit territory.
