DENVER and TORONTO -- Companies in the retail banking sector who want a complete, in-house solution to address compliance concerns are increasingly looking to the Plug n Comply e-mail archiving appliance offered by Jatheon Technologies, Inc.

United Western Bancorp, which owns the Colorado-based United Western Bank network, recently implemented a Jatheon solution to assist with e-discovery compliance in legal cases. “We were using an outside vendor for our message archiving and were unhappy with their reliability,” explained Jamie Yancy, chief technology officer for United Western Bancorp. “After careful evaluation of a number of providers, we felt the Jatheon solution was the best fit for our business model.”

“Community banks across the U.S. have been forced to quickly adopt effective, ‘top-down’ compliance models in response to Sarbanes-Oxley and a number of other regulatory requirements,” said Kieron Dowling, president and CEO of Jatheon. “In our experience, the ease and security of an on-site Jatheon archiving appliance make it an ideal component of a community banking risk management strategy. In addition, the scalability of a Jatheon solution partners well with the growth model of many community banking networks.”
