ISLANDIA, N.Y. -- At the Microsoft Management Summit in San Diego today, CA announced two management solutions that enable IT organizations to improve service levels and operational productivity by unifying insight into technology assets and application performance issues across their heterogeneous enterprise computing environments.

CA Asset Adapter for Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 helps organizations take full advantage of their Microsoft SMS investment by providing customers with a unified view of all enterprise IT resources. CA Wily Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 expands Introscope's support for Microsoft systems management solutions. Wily Introscope also supports CA Unicenter NSM, as well as other systems management tools.

"To get the most value out of their technology investments, IT organizations need complete, holistic insight into their assets and application performance across the enterprise," said Carl Coken, director of the Strategic Alliances Management & Solutions Division at Microsoft Corp. "These integrations ensure customers who have invested in CA's asset and service management solutions can gain access to the wealth of asset data within Microsoft SMS. The CA Wily Management Pack enables customers of Wily Introscope to integrate their information about Java application servers into System Center Operations Manager 2007 further broadening our reach into non- Microsoft environments."
