OTTAWA, Aug. 25. AFORE Solutions, Inc., a provider of cloud networking technology and Ethernet software solutions, today announced their CloudLink virtual appliance and management solution designed to securely optimize and manage enterprise application deployment for private, public and hybrid cloud computing environments.
CloudLink is the first software solution to provide an integrated on-ramp to the cloud, combining AES-256 encryption, high performance network optimization, powerful SLA assurance and monitoring and advanced traffic management capabilities in a single solution. Enterprise users can now deploy applications into a VMware vCloud based infrastructure with the assurance that their information is secure, and fully monitor the operation of the network to ensure their SLA and performance management requirements are met.
"We listened to our customers, partners and the market," said Alex Berlin, AFORE's president and CEO. "CloudLink offers secure access and optimized delivery of applications and storage enabling highly sensitive data to be migrated to a private or public cloud. The CloudLink solution was developed to meet a rapidly growing need in the market and securely link, optimize and manage the connectivity between enterprise users and cloud computing environments."
AFORE's CloudLink portfolio integrates seamlessly with VMware's vCenter and vCloud Director (Redwood) to provide an 'On-Ramp to the Cloud' enabling private, public or hybrid clouds to operate as a logical extension of the enterprise's own data center.
"Many enterprises have been reluctant to migrate to a cloud model due to concerns regarding security, performance, availability and integration with their existing IT infrastructures," said Jonathan Reeves, AFORE's Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer. "CloudLink has been designed to address these concerns and deliver a practical solution to accelerate private, public and hybrid cloud deployments." AFORE will be demonstrating their CloudLink solution live at VMworld 2010, booth 1732 August 30 - September 2, 2010, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
