COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX) today announced the Technology Council of Southern California has named its President and Chief Executive Officer Jim McCluney, the winner of the prestigious "CEO of the Year" award.
McCluney will be honored at the 14th Annual Technology Industry Awards gala this evening in Los Angeles. McCluney was recognized for his achievements, such as diversifying the company and leading Emulex to its ninth consecutive year of revenue growth, and for his role advancing technological innovation in Southern California.
"With a successful strategy for growth and diversification based on two acquisitions, Jim McCluney has guided Emulex to expand into new markets, ensure innovation, and accelerate revenue growth," said Catrina Luedtke, executive director of The Technology Council of Southern California.
