CHANHASSEN, Minn. -- Datalink (Nasdaq: DTLK), an independent information storage architect, today announced the appointment of Mike Cannon as west region sales director. Cannon will oversee Datalinks western sales efforts, work closely with regional engineering teams and expand Datalinks presence in enterprise accounts.

Prior to joining Datalink, Cannon held sales and management roles at CNT, where he was national sales director for IBM Global Services, and Vixel Corporation, where he was channel director. Additionally, Cannon has held sales leadership roles with EMC Corporation and MCI Worldcom.

Cannon earned a bachelors degree in information systems from Texas A&M University, a masters degree in business administration from St. Thomas University, and a masters degree in computer science from Colorado Tech.
