Yosemite Acquires Laptop, Protection

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Yosemite Technologies, Inc.,
a global provider of data protection solutions that span from the desktop to the data center, today announced that it has acquired FileKeeper, which delivers protection for Windows notebooks and desktops using continuous data protection (CDP) solutions. Terms of the acquisition of the
Knoxville-based company were not disclosed. FileKeeper is being integrated
immediately into Yosemite.

"Cost-effective yet comprehensive data protection solutions are a chief
concern of our customers today," said George Symons, CEO of Yosemite
Technologies. By combining FileKeeper's file level versioning (CDP) system
to protect user files on notebook and desktop computers with our
traditional backup solutions for servers, Yosemite is providing Small and
Medium Businesses (SMBs) a wide range of best in class choices to keep
their data safe and available. "
