    Today’s new applications and the growing embracement of network automation, adaptive network infrastructures, the internet of things (IoT), and DevOps require new skills.

    The new Cisco DevNet training and certification program provides software skills for network engineers and software developers who work with Cisco technologies. Like other Cisco certifications, the DevNet program offers three levels of certification. Training can begin immediately. The first exams go live February 24, 2020.

    Cisco Certified DevNet Associate

    This certification is for developers who have one or more years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications. This certification validates your core knowledge of Cisco platforms, working with applications, Cisco’s programmability strategy, and APIs.

    Achieving Cisco Certified DevNet Associate certification proves your skills in developing and maintaining applications built on Cisco platforms. To earn DevNet Associate certification, you pass one exam that covers the fundamentals of software development and design for Cisco platforms.

    Cisco Certified DevNet Professional

     This certification is for developers who have at least three to five years of experience designing and implementing applications. Two exams cover designing and developing resilient, robust, and secure applications using Cisco APIs and platforms, and managing and deploying applications on Cisco infrastructure.
