ST. LOUIS -- SAVVIS, Inc. (NASDAQ:SVVS), a global leader in IT infrastructure services for business applications, today announced that it has recently completed an examination in conformity with Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70), Service Organizations for the period November 1, 2005 through October 31, 2006 that was performed by Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Completion of the SAS 70 Type II examination indicates that selected SAVVIS processes, procedures and controls have been formally evaluated and tested by an independent accounting and auditing firm. The examination included the companys controls related to security monitoring, change management, problem management, backup and environmental controls, logical and physical access.
