ColdWatt Joins Green Grid

AUSTIN, Texas -- ColdWatt Inc., a supplier
of innovative digital power conversion technologies, has joined The
Green Grid, a global consortium dedicated to developing and promoting
energy efficiency for data centers and information services. As an
innovator in the power supply market, ColdWatt is investing in
technologies aimed at improving overall power consumption in the data
center.

"By looking beyond the power supply 'silver box,' we take a holistic
approach to energy efficiency that helps solve IT managers' power
challenges and reduce end users' operational expenditures," said Dan
Artusi, chairman and CEO of ColdWatt. "Joining The Green Grid is a
natural extension of this strategy and will allow us to work with
other industry leaders to make a significant impact on the data
center ecosystem, as well as the environment."

The Green Grid consortium announced its formation and board of
directors in late February 2007. The organization brings together key
leaders from critical segments of the data center ecosystem to
develop a unified voice around data center efficiency issues. Its
goals include defining user-centric models and metrics, and
developing and promoting energy efficient standards, processes,
measurements and technologies.
