Last year, we predicted that IP PBX lines would propel past conventional PBX unit sales. That's holding so far, with hybrid PBXs accounting for 63 percent of line shipments, according to Infonetics Research. TDM is still the dominant installed telephone technology, and will remain so for quite some time.

We were uncommitted as to whether blogs, podcasts, news feeds and online video would become commonplace in the enterprise. These technologies are still in the early-adopter phase and didn't advance much during 2006. But we're bullish on them gaining serious ground in 2007.
