What are the alternatives? You can trick your environment into prioritizing 11g traffic. This approach has been touted by Intersil and others in the form of a packet-bursting technology that lets up to six 11g frames be transmitted for each 11b frame. But this workaround won't be standardized until the 802.11h committee completes its work. The second option is to bypass 11g and run a dual-mode 11a-11b environment.
