Avistar Adds To Leadership In Desktop Visual Communications For VDI With Citrix XenApp Certification For Avistar C3 Integrator

SAN MATEO, Calif & BERLIN(BUSINESS WIRE) Avistar Communications Corporation, a leader in unified visual communications solutions, announced today the general availability of the Avistar C3 Integrator - Citrix Edition for Citrix XenApp.
Avistar offers the industry's only scalable desktop videoconferencing solution that leverages the full benefits of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The company introduced the Avistar C3 Integrator - Citrix Edition for Citrix XenDesktop in April, and with today's news, the Avistar C3 Integrator - Citrix Edition now provides support for Citrix XenAppTM as well. The Avistar C3 Integrator - Citrix Edition will be on display at Citrix Synergy 2010 Berlin, October 6-8, 2010, booth No. 516.
The Avistar C3 Integrator - Citrix Edition gives users on PCs, laptops and thin terminals HD-quality desktop videoconferencing without overburdening the VDI environment. Operating efficiently across enterprise LANs and global WANs, the Avistar C3 Integrator - Citrix Edition enables large-scale and fully managed deployments of voice and video calling. It also integrates seamlessly with unified communications solutions such as Microsoft Office Communicator using the Avistar C3 Unified - Microsoft OCS Edition in addition to other Avistar endpoints such as the Avistar C3 Communicator solution.
