VMware, on the other hand, is clearly focusing its efforts on monitoring the performance of applications. The vendor is currently planning to relaunch the technology from its acquisition of virtual application specialist ThinStall as a VMware-branded product, something that will be completed by the middle of this year.
With users looking to take their virtualization strategies to the next level, it seems clear that B-Hive has been added to the VMware portfolio in preparation for the ThinStall re-launch.
