In
addition, they were featuring their partnership with iLand. By
combining Vizioncore's vReplicator product, iLand's data centers
provide a turnkey, off-site DR solution. This is an ideal combination
for small to medium size companies that are looking for DR capabilities
but don't have a suitable remote site. This allows them to off-site
their virtual infrastructure without making the off-site investment.

Storwize, yes
Storwize was there. In-line compression works very well on NFS mounted
VMware images. They showed it live in the Isilon both, 96 VMs, 70% data
reduction, better performance. They are doing for storage for what
VMware did for servers. Which, by the way, I am speaking at a lunch
time on Tuesday and Wednesday.  The obvious payoff is to
reduce storage need in VMware environments. The less obvious, possibly,
is decreased disk and tape backup space needs, reduced replication
bandwidth and reduced snapshot reserve space area.
