As far as eDiscovery goes, cloud-based computing primarily presents as a cloud-based hosting site with eDiscovery services running over the hosted data.

 CA and Acxiom are hardly breaking ground. CommVault and CaseCentral announced a similar setup last year for CommVault customers, EMC and IBM work with StoredIQ, and there are other partnerships about. But it is a good step and I continue to watch the eDiscovery hosting space with great interest.
