Awareness Technologies, the makers of InterGuard - the only SaaS-based Unified Insider Threat Protection Platform, covering data loss prevention (DLP), web filtering, employee monitoring and laptop recovery, today announced that it has acquired LegiTime, a mobile technology company. LegiTime's technology extends Awareness clients' ability to monitor and block transmission of confidential data to smartphones. Support for RIM BlackBerry devices is due later this month and will initially be focused on recording inbound and outbound SMS. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

(OAT), today announced NetFront IP-Phone, a full scale VoIP solution with 3G and Wi-Fi air interfaces designed to support all three major smartphone operating systems: iPhone, Android and Windows Mobile. Jointly developed by ACCESS and OAT, NetFront IP-Phone is designed for commercial use by operators, Internet Service Providers (ISPs and Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). The solution will be available from ACCESS worldwide as of June 2010.
