![]() Art Wittmann has been Editor in Chief of Network Computing for the past three years, responsible for driving the brand's evolving print, analytics and events strategy. From 1996 to 1999, Wittmann was editor of Network Computing where he managed the day-to-day operations and authored the critically acclaimed "On The Edge" column on leading edge technology issues. His areas of specialty include high performance computing, wireless, network system design and management, internetworking, and business issues. He joined Network Computing in 1991. Prior to his return to CMP in 2004, Wittmann was a freelance writer specializing technology assessment and vendor viability analysis for the Enterprise IT marketplace.
