Joe Heinlein, IT Director, American Airlines Center
Mr. Heinlein is responsible for all data and telecommunications at the 20,000-seat sports and entertainment complex, home of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and the NHL's Dallas Stars. Mr. Heinlein started working in IT in 1999 at Reunion Arena in Dallas; when the American Airlines Center was opened in 2001, he joined as the network administrator. Mr. Heinlein previously held management and sales positions in the transportation, medical supply and insurance industries. He earned a bachelor of business degree from the University of Toledo in 1978.
Jake Star, Director of Technical Services, Stanley Works
Mr. Star is responsible for many of aspects of Stanley Works' operations (data center, LAN, Help Desk,) worldwide. Prior to joining Stanley Works, Mr. Star was Chief Technology Officer for Southport Communications, developing a range of services for the consulting firm and managing all engineering engagements. Prior to that, he served as vice president of computer services at Mohegan Sun, the world's most profitable casino, where he was responsible for all aspects of technology strategy, implementation and support. Mr. Star also served as chief security officer for Mohegan Sun. He holds B.S. degrees in MIS and mathematics.
