Vonage has announced that it will begin offering the Motorola VT2442 Voice over IP (VoIP) gateway to subscribers this fall.
Based on the Texas Instruments TNETV1060 VoIP gateway chipset, the device can support two VoIP lines and offers calling features like call waiting, call forwarding and caller ID. The VT2442 also includes broadband router features, including four Ethernet ports and a firewall.

Citron said in a statement. "Motorola is a proven partner with the experience and support to ensure the quality that is essential to our business."
Vonage customers will be able to get the VT2442 gate way directly from Vonage in the fall of this year.
