The Truth About The FCC Proposed Rules On Net Neutrality: Page 2 of 2

Where in these guiding principles does anyone see or infer dark forces such as the government wanting to control free speech or impeding emergency care? Nowhere.  Just the opposite. The rules state clearly and unequivocally that  the rules should not impede law enforcement.

Nor do the proposed rules want to make service providers dumb pipes subject to smart applications as Ivan Seidenberg, Chairman and CEO of Verizon Communications, suggests. Just the opposite! To enforce network neutrality, service providers have to be smart. Very smart. And how smart a provider's network becomes is a service differentiator.

Stop listening to the FUD about net neutrality. Read the proposed rules yourself. There isn't a boogey man lurking in the language that will leap out in the future. I am going to talk about some of the details on the rule making in upcoming blogs.
