Customers are able to associate devices managed by SonicWALL GMS to customer accounts and contracts managed within the Autotask system. With this association, rich device-specific data, including subscription service and support license expiration information, is imported from SonicWALL GMS into Autotask. After the initial association, device information is dynamically updated on an ongoing basis. Within the Autotask system, Sales Opportunities, Service Tickets, and Billable Items (Invoices) are automatically created based on device-specific subscription license expiration dates as provided by SonicWALL GMS.

SonicWALL GMS has an expansive monitoring and alerting module. The GMS web services API serves up both device-specific alerts and alerts at the system level when, for example, a SonicWALL UTM device goes off-line or when a VPN tunnel goes down. The Autotask system can consume these alerts to automatically generate service tickets.
