New to version 8 is a revamped UI modeled on Microsoft Outlook and a customizable dashboard that displays real-time updates of key performance indicators.

Other additions include enhanced search that examines the text of assets, work orders and more to help admins find relevant information quickly. Admins also can ID new or missing assets with a feature that reconciles autodiscovery and bar-code asset tracking. A remote-control module lets technicians troubleshoot problems without having to go to the physical machine, a boon for managing remote offices. Enterprise Edition pricing starts at $3,895.
