Sure to be one of the fastest 802.11n access points, the Aironet 3600 stakes its claim as the first 4x4 antenna design with 3 spatial (MIMO) streams, giving it expanded wireless capacity that can improve throughput by up to 67%, while reducing battery drain on mobile devices by 38%. The 3600 incorporates Cisco's ClientLink 2.0 beamforming technology and works with all 802.11a/g/n devices. The 3600 also features CleanAir technology to improve RF performance in noisy, interference-prone environments, plus an optional full-spectrum monitoring module. It supports new wireless standards like 802.11r, providing fast handoff between APs for devices in motion, and 802.11u for improved roaming between private and public Wi-Fi networks.
