In the product enhancement news, Security Manager 4.0 provides integrated event and policy management and troubleshooting tools to help enterprises identify and remediate configuration issues on Cisco network security devices. It also offers unified NAT and allows global policies to streamline management. Role-based access control and workflow tools are designed to improve change management programs and ensure separation of duties.

ASA 5500 8.3 includes support for AnyConnect Secure Mobility, threat blocking and improved reporting for its botnet traffic filter capabilities, IPv6 support and global ACL and network objects to improve management across complex environments.
