Real Madrid C.F. will be the first soccer club in Europe to deploy the Cisco Connected Stadium Wi-Fi solution, a high-density wireless network designed to improve fans' mobile connections. It will give fans at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, Spain, a reliable way to access social media and other Internet services during the game, freeing up clogged cellular networks for voice calls and texts. On the safety side, the Cisco service provides a new communications channel that Real Madrid staff will use for security and operational use.
