Network Printer ProblemYou cannot access or use a printer connected to the segment as a shared printer .You cannot access or use a printer connected to a specific Ethernet station node or file server as an unshared printer. If this printer is connected to an Ethernet station node or a file server, it is not actually considered a network peripheral because it does not contain its own NIC. In this case, the following is applicable. If the printer does contain its own NIC, you should troubleshoot the problem as a network peripheral.
