Main Ethernet Network Failure Symptoms

Choose the most appropriate symptom, then click on it.


On an Ethernet segment, nodes are not operating, or are hanging or freezing during operation.


The network is encountering a high count of Ethernet frame errors.

The complete network is hanging or freezing, and the problem appears to be related to a common intelligent hub.


The complete network is hanging or freezing, and the problem appears to be related to a common repeater.


A network-sharable or nonsharable modem cannot be used or accessed, or there is a problem accessing the segment from a remote modem connection.


The complete network is hanging or freezing, and the problem appears to be related to a common Thick or Thin repeater.
