8 Router ProblemsIs the failure symptom that particular protocols are not being passed through to another ring?  Go to page 8.1.
Is the failure symptom that no data traffic can get from one side of the router to the other, or that data is intermittently getting corrupted when passed through the router? Go to page 8.2.
Is the failure symptom that only partial data traffic can pass across the router? Go to page 8.3.
Is the failure symptom that an overloaded bandwidth condition is present on a certain ring? Go to page 8.4.
 This procedure is generic as to the router manufacturer. For some of
the troubleshooting steps mentioned on this page, reference the router manufacturer's
documentation for any special predefined methods for checking router configuration
and for router testing.
