13 Gateway ProblemsIs the whole network having a problem accessing or using a host gateway connected to a local ring?  Go to page 13.1.
Is just one ring station or a group of ring stations having a problem accessing or using a host gateway connected to a local ring? Go to page 13.2.
Is there a problem accessing or using a host gateway from a non-local ring bridged, routed, or connected through a remote connection? Go to page 13.3.
Is the failure symptom that gateway sessions appear to be running slowly or unresponsively? Go to page 13.4.
Are LAN-to-host sessions intermittently locking up or freezing? Go to page 13.5.
 This procedure is generic as to the gateway and gateway-sharing software
manufacturers. For some of the troubleshooting steps mentioned on this page,
you should also reference the manufacturer's documentation for any special
predefined methods for checking configuration and for testing.
