Re: salary trends
It is interesting that there seems to be a shortage of "Qualified" IT professionals.  And that corporate spending is not on those people who provide the professional services.  And as more and more services are migrating toward cloud services and are less dependent on on premise solutions.

It would have been interesting if the survey had asked IT pros about whether they expected any raises next year. InformationsWeek's 2014 US IT Salary Survey showed that salaries were essentially flat for infrastructure pros.
