American Society of Business Publications Editors (ASBPE) This competition recognizes the hard work and commitment to excellence by business, trade, professional, and association publication editors and editorial designers. These prestigious awards convey respect, recognize accomplishment, build confidence and contribute to success. Since ASBPE is an editors-only organization, an ASBPE award is true peer-to-peer recognition and an acknowledgment from experienced colleagues of excellence. Jesse H. Neal Business Journalism Award - www.americanbusinessmedia.com Often hailed for its preeminence as the "Pulitzer Prize of the business press," the Neal Award is the business publishing industry's yearly salute to individual editors for outstanding editorial excellence. Winning entries were selected for contribution to the field the publication services, as well as for journalistic enterprise, and editorial craftsmanship. Entries are divided into three classifications of business publications, according to the publication's revenues in advertising and circulation, with seven editorial categories within each size classification. The awards are named after ABM's first managing director who remained active in promoting the business press throughout his life. The association is comprised of working editors, writers, producers, and freelancers who cover issues related to computers and technology. Members work in print, online, and broadcast journalism.
