MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF THE 6TH ANNUAL WELL-CONNECTED AWARDSManhasset, NY, May 8, 2000 -- CMP Medias Network Computing announced today the winners of the 6th Annual Well-Connected Awards at a gala event held in Las Vegas. Among the 50 winners announced at the awards ceremony, the most eagerly anticipated were Hardware Product of the Year, given to Cisco Systems for their Cisco 3060 VPN Concentrator, formerly Altiga Networks Concentrator, Software Product of the Year, awarded to Novell for their NOS eDirectory, and Digital Island, who was selected Most Innovative Service Provider of the Year. Both Winners and Finalists are highlighted in the May 15th issue of Network Computing, reported the largest folio year-to-date, with over 220 pages. In addition to its bi-monthly circulation of 220,000, the May 15th Well-Connected issue will have additional distribution of over 18,000 copies at NetWorld+Interop, one of the industries largest trade shows.
