SAN DIEGO- August 1, 2000 - ENEN.com, the leading worldwide provider of business-to-business training and demand creation services, today announced a strategic partnership with Network Computing, the technology reviews publication telling its readers --The Technology Experts, what works, how it works and who to buy it from. The publication, a leading networking trade magazine published by CMP Media, Inc., has already begun to offer ENEN.com's NetSeminarTM service as part of their 2000 events strategy.
By offering ENEN.com's NetSeminar service to its advertisers, Network Computing will enable sponsors to conduct live, Internet-based audio, video and text presentations designed to address a targeted audience of on-line views. One example of a NetSeminar would be a live RFP presentation, lead by an industry leader, featuring a sponsor's solution during a discussion on a specific technology or chosen topic.
"We are continuously supplementing our advertising packages with innovative services that allow sponsors to reach their target audience," says Kathryn Dopman, Director of Sales and Marketing East for Network Computing. "This arrangement with ENEN.com will enable our advertisers to deliver more personalized messages and develop direct relationships with current and prospective customers through live interactive Internet broadcasts."
"We are excited to expand our relationship with CMP and we will continue to work with the Company to leverage the Internet in order to provide value-added services to both CMP readers and advertisers," says ENEN.com Founder, Robert Edelman.
How NetSeminar Works
Using a combination of audio, video and chat technologies, NetSeminars enable groups to communicate and present real-time information effectively and efficiently over the Internet, rather than in person. The presentation is communicated from ENEN.com's state-of-the-art digital NetSeminar multimedia studio, or remotely from a location designated by the presenter. An interactive chat session follows each presentation so that attendees can direct questions, comments and feedback to the presenter in real-time. Following the live NetSeminar event, an archived version of the presentation, complete with the audio portion of the event and a transcription of the interactive chat session, is available on a designated Web site for access anytime, from anywhere. To attend a NetSeminar, participants need a computer with Internet access and a Java-enabled Web browser.
