Chicago Lab The Neohapsis/NWC-Chicago lab was first erected in early 1997 to serve as the primary research facility for the security team. It was re-located to the outskirts of the Chicago Loop area in early 2000 to accommodate for increased power needs and additional space requirements. While the members of the Chicago team often find themselves immersed in Internet, operating system, and directory-related technologies, the primary focus of our research is based in the information security product space. Over the years we have published numerous articles on topics such as intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment, perimeter defenses and the art of Internet warfare. Rest assured, if a product is in the information security space, we've either broken it or we're in the midst of testing it at this very moment.
