Tranxition Adaptive Persona Customizes VDI: Page 2 of 2

Tranxition Adaptive Persona customizes vanilla VDI installations, saving and applying user specific options to VDI Windows instances when logged in. Adaptive Persona seamlessly synchronizes changes to a back-end user so that users always have the same desktop whenever they log in, and IT doesn't have to maintain individual VDI images for each user.

Priced at $24 per named user for a basic functions and $38 per concurrent user for advanced features like Smart Shadow and VDI migration, Tranxition claims companies can recover the cost in less than 30 days in desktop management and migration expenses alone.

Infinite Group, Inc (IGI), a technology services company primarily focused on federal, state, and local governments, is piloting Adaptive Persona and they are impressed. Jason Langone, VP of Virtualization Services for IGI, said some of their customers balked at VDI because the customers "users didn't want vanilla PCs. They want to customize their computer with such menu items as colors, keyboard mappings, font preferences and other features that let them work more effectively. Providing a seamless and uniform user experience was a critical factor when deciding to move to VDI."
