Wyse Technology Showcases And Presents Desktop Virtualization-centric Cloud Computing Solutions At Cisco Live

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wyse Technology, the inventor and global leader in cloud client computing, today announced its presence at Cisco Live at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, June 27th - July 1st. Wyse will showcase secure virtualized desktops and the value of its enterprise solutions with Cisco and leading virtualization partners. Wyse's superior virtualization and infrastructure software and end-point user experience runs over Cisco's unified computing and network offerings to deliver a best of breed VDI solution, including unified communications.

Wyse's hugely popular anywhere, anytime mobile desktop app, Wyse PocketCloud for Apple iOS devices, is now in public beta for Google Android-based devices, and will be demonstrated. Other solutions, including the Wyse's latest zero clients, the Wyse P20 and Wyse Xenith will be featured.

Within the Wyse booth, live demonstrations of virtual enterprise solutions using the Cisco Unified Computing System and Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) Software will be featured as a datacenter and branch office server/network solution. Wyse will also showcase Citrix, Microsoft and VMware virtualization solutions on Wyse Cloud Clients, utilizing Wyse's infrastructure software, Wyse Device Manager (WDM) and Wyse WSM. "Wyse is pleased to be demonstrating unique solutions that now enable virtualization from the traditional server based model to a new network and cloud centric architecture delivering advanced levels of scalability, reliability and ROI," said Curt Schwebke, Chief Technology Officer at Wyse Technology.

Jeff McNaught, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at Wyse, will also deliver a presentation about "How adopting the right client strategy might be the best way to deliver the ROI you always wanted for VDI." In this session, McNaught will compare and contrast several end-point architecture options, how each architecture can accelerate - or in some cases retard - an overall scalability, security, and energy strategy.
