Joining the list of current EDMS features are integrated document scanning and the document routing features which were recently released in the latest version of JustWare. The new document scanning tool works with any TWAIN compliant scanner and saves time and paper by enabling agencies and courts to scan single or multi-page documents directly into a case or name filing cabinet within JustWare. The document routing tool allows users to move or copy scanned documents from case to case, or to assigned work queues for review.
JustWares native work queuing and dashboard functionality allow documents to be scanned and routed to key resources for review and then routed to supervisors or peers for further review, eliminating paper and moving courts, prosecutors, public defenders, and probation/parole agencies closer to the paperless office.
This functionality works in conjunction with the other EDMS features already available in the JustWare | Solutions Suite. The JustWare virtual filing cabinet is a robust electronic storage feature; it allows users to keep track of all electronic media for cases and names in one location. Users are able to save audio, word documents, emails, photographs, electronic discovery, video files, and other documents within the filing cabinet.
