Has IE7 Caught Firefox?: Page 2 of 3

But still, I'm burying the lead. Should you switch? Will I switch?

Most Firefox users -- including me -- I imagine won't make an immediate leap to IE7. Firefox 1.5x works fine for me, I've customized it with a handful of extensions that I use every day and there's very little it does that bothers me and very little it doesn't do that I feel I'm missing out on.

Would I ever switch? I might. I switched from Netscape to IE without a second thought when the latter simply became a better, quicker, cleaner browser than the former. I switched to Firefox from IE just as quickly.

It would seem, then, that the switching costs for browsers remains relatively low, while the switching drivers requires something fairly revolutionary (quicker page-draws in IE 5/6; tabbed pages and safer browsing in Firefox 1.0)

So let's leave this debate off with a question: What features or capabilities, if any, would tempt you to leave behind your current browser (Firefox or alternative) and turn to IE 7.0 or some other newcomer?
