In the end, Lynn agreed to comply with a court order prohibiting him from further discussing the research findings. A version of the slides from Lynn's Black Hat presentation still found its way to a security mailing list and several Web sites. "Information wants to be free," wrote the person who posted the PDF to the mailing list. Whether information "wants" to be free or not, it's bound to escape when so many people insist they're entitled to it.
