Bus-Tech Completes IBM Testing

Bus-Tech, Inc. completes testing under the IBM System Storage Proven program

BURLINGTON, Mass. -- Bus-Tech, Inc., a leading provider of Virtual Tape solutions for attachment to IBM mainframes, today announces that the Mainframe Data Library (MDL), Mainframe Appliance for Storage (MAS) and zDASD products have successfully completed interoperability testing with IBMs System Storage N series, DS4000, DS3000 and SAN Volume Controller (SVC) products and has been confirmed as IBM System Storage Proven. The IBM System Storage Proven program builds on IBM’s already extensive interoperability efforts to develop and deliver products and solutions that work together with third party products.

"Comprehensive testing for IBM System Storage Proven, along with IBM Server Proven with System z, provides customers with assurance of smooth integration with IBM System Storage Disk products as well as integration into the IBM mainframe environment," stated Bus-Tech President, Al Brandt.
