When you invite more than 300 IT vendors to congregate in one space to demonstrate their technology, you'd better have a darn good infrastructure in place to support them. The InteropNet provides the IT environment and network connectivity to those exhibitors, as well as the 13,000 attendees of the Interopconference. Now in its 28th year, volunteers build the InteropNet from scratch to support the expo floor, conference sessions and wireless access for the entire event.
The InteropNet strives to provide 100 percent reliability and zero downtime. Because it lacks the burden of legacy equipment, it offers the unique opportunity for its engineers to build a truly best-of-breed environment. And as a multi-vendor showcase, it shows just how well interoperability can be achieved. For more details on how the InteropNet for the upcoming Interop Las Vegas is shaping up, watch the video:
The Interop conference will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas from March 31 to April 3. There you'll find a wealth of educational sessions and workshopson topics like networking, data centers, storage, and cloud infrastructure.
