Caption Contest: Data Center Evolution

Don't you just love to get the last word? Here's your chance to have that snark immortalized on a Network Computing cartoon, as the winner of our caption contest.

We provide the cartoon. You write the caption.
We provide the cartoon. You write the caption.

Cartoonist John Klossner has penned an illustration just waiting for your witty subtitles. Start putting those clever minds to work, and submit your caption in the comments. One lucky winner will be awarded a $50 Amazon gift card, and the runner-up will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.

Our elite panel of judges will include Network Computing blogger and punster Amy Arnold, known and feared throughout social media for her scathing one-liners. We're also soliciting help from the community: Comment to tell us which submissions are your favorites, or vote for other members' posts by clicking on the "thumbs up" icon.

The contest closes Sept. 1. Click here for additional contest rules. We'll announce the winner in early September, and republish the cartoon with the victorious entry. Happy caption crafting!

Since the data center became sentient, it won't let them out. Its not completely heartless, however. They still get to spend a lot of time playing games.

If you thought consumerization killed UC, think again: 70% of our 488 respondents have or plan to put systems in place. Of those, 34% will roll UC out to 76% or more of their user base. And there’s some good news for UCaaS providers.
