Ajay Malik is responsible for Meru Networks' WLAN solutions, including hardware, software development, system architecture, and quality assurance. He has more than 20 years of engineering leadership and entrepreneurial experience in developing award-winning products in the software, mobile/wireless, and networking industries. Prior to joining Meru, Malik held leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard Company, where he was vice president of engineering, mobility solutions, HP Networking Group, and at Cisco's Wireless Networking Group, where he was responsible for controller, management, and services functions across the wireless product portfolio. Prior to that, he was head of engineering and advanced development in the Wireless LAN Division of Symbol Technologies/Motorola and championed Motorola's foray into real-time Wi-Fi location.
