![]() Spring Break For Network Computing Online |
|
By Joe Caponi
Going online with this issue, you'll find complete responses from our security RFP participants, as well as our new Interactive Buyer's Guide on firewalls. It's terrific information, but I admit it's not the number of online surprises you've come to expect from us (especially after last issue's Design Manual, Workgroup Computing supplement, BOTI awards and satellite feature). But honestly, we needed a break. In fact, I'm probably on sabbatical while you read this. So enjoy the Web site, and I'll see you in two weeks.
The second item is more painful. Last month, I directed you to a card bound into the issue, crammed with more information about the site, the e-mail newsletter and the new Network Computing advisory forum. Imagine my surprise when the issues arrived at the office sans cards. It turns out about half of you received cards and the other half didn't. I'm sorry if you didn't. Nevertheless, you'll find all that information online at www.NetworkComputing.com. --Joe Caponi, jcaponi@nwc.com |
