Executive Software International Sitekeeper 2.0
Executive Software International has upgraded Sitekeeper, its systems-management tool. Version 2.0's PushInstaller lets you easily update software across Microsoft Windows 95b, 98, Me, NT, 2000 or XP networks. Additionally, Sitekeeper can scan legacy applications, tracking licenses and removing software with expired licenses. Finally, the new version is available for laptops and other machines that are not always connected to the network. Sun Microsystems Sun ONE Application Server 7
Sun Microsystems has released two versions of its Sun ONE (Open Net Environment) Application Server. The Platform edition is offered free to enterprises and independent software vendors. Because the application server is modular and compatible with all major platforms, you can customize it with Sun ONE Java Web Services. Both editions include the first complete version (1.3) of the J2EE platform and the Java WSDP toolset for building, testing and deploying XML applications, Web applications and Web services that use WSDL, SOAP ebXML and UDDI.
